Lauren & Patrick’s Laid Back Summer Wedding

Lauren and Patrick’s wedding weekend was an intimate affair of 13 guests held in both areas of our Gardens.

The New England Couple, both in the education field, hosted their laid back and elegant wedding this summer. Despite an hour delay due to a rain shower, the evening was filled with laughter and warm togetherness.

Lauren is a down-to-Earth kind of girl who put on the glam for her big day.

Bella Luxe Hair & Makeup created a simple, yet elegant look accented with crystals.

The bouquet was a stunner! Pink peonies in the summer months…what a lucky bride!

L&P6

The groom owns his laid-back style… perfect for a Key West afternoon.

We adore Megan Ellis Photography’s attention to detail!

The “I-do’s” occurred precisely in time before an island rain shower directed guests to our covered porches!

Our brick-paved driveway created the perfect intimate setting.

In our Gardens, Prestige Party Rentals provided wooden farm tables with gold chiavari chairs for the party of 13 guests.

Their tablescape reflected the couple’s professions perfectly. Hard bound books, globes, white milk glass vases, silver echeveria succulents, gorgeous white peonies, cabbage roses in pastel pinks, accents of wax flower and astible were provided by Love In Bloom Florist. You would never know it poured rain for a hour prior to this sit down dinner! Good thing the couple’s wedding planner, Soiree Key West, had everything under control!

This one is always a favorite shot for us and our guests with Old Town Manor in the background!

Once the rain cleared, dinner was served. This lovely plated meal began with a cocktail of Key West “Pinks” shrimp.

The meal was finished with Three Fine Cooks’s specialty, Flaming Donuts. One of Patrick’s favorites was the Bananas Foster in Dark Rum Sauce.

One of the best parts of Key West are the many photo opportunities our couples have to choose from! Key West Bight Marina always provides a stunning backdrop. You can see the rain approaching!

Another colorful spot is a local favorite, BO’s Fish Wagon.

The bride and groom were casually seated in the center of the table to enjoy the company of their 11 guests.

No wedding celebration is complete without dancing! The couple shared their first dance tableside.

Along with the chiavari chairs, the gold-foiled applique on the cake ties the evening’s decor all together. Key West Cakes really knows how to execute a grand finale!

Cheers to “happily ever after”! Congratulations and best wishes, Lauren and Patrick!
